There are several United Nations programs for developing green energy in our country. One of them is the program “Promoting the development of energy-efficient rural housing construction in Uzbekistan.”

Yesterday, the Uzeltechsanoat Association was visited by senior officials from the UN office in our country.

Employees of the association exchanged views with representatives of the international organization on cooperation within the framework of the above program.

That is, the focus of the discussion was the supply of solar panels, solar water heaters, and other types of electrical products that store heat and energy for energy-efficient houses built under the UN program in remote areas of Uzbekistan.

The staff of the UN Office was provided with detailed information about the enterprises producing this type of product in our country, the quality of the products and the activities of the Association.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed on cooperation within the framework of the program “Promoting the development of energy-efficient rural housing construction in Uzbekistan.” In particular, joint exhibitions will be organized in all regions.

Within the framework of the UN program, $1 million has been allocated to stimulate the introduction of renewable energy sources in Uzbekistan.

These funds cover from 15 to 35 percent of energy-efficient products the population purchases.

Participation in such programs of a reputable international organization implemented in our country creates favourable opportunities for enterprises in the electrical industry.
