Yesterday, the Uzeltechsanoat association was visited by representatives of the Russian Association of Aluminum Producers, Suppliers and Consumers (Aluminum Association of Russia) and the management of the RUSAL company.

In this regard, a meeting was organized between the chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association Mirziyod Yunusov, the chairman of the Aluminum Association of Russia Irina Kazovskaya, and the head of the sales department of the RUSAL company in the CIS Elisey Bludchiev.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged ideas on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation, exchanging experiences and developing promising cooperation projects.

As a result of negotiations between the Uzeltechsanoat Association and the Aluminum Association of Russia, a memorandum of understanding was signed.

According to the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in strengthening ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries producing and consuming aluminium, exchanging experience in the scientific and technical field, and implementing new projects in the aluminium and cable industries.

At the end of the meeting, mutual gifts were exchanged between the parties. Foreign guests noted that they were pleased to further develop warm relations of hospitality and cooperation.

The Aluminum Association of Russia was created in 2015 and unites large enterprises in the aluminium industry. Today the association includes 140 companies.

The RUSAL company was founded in 2007. The company was one of the first in the world to begin mass production of aluminium with minimal carbon content. It has aluminium smelting and processing plants in 19 countries. RUSAL is the largest producer and exporter of aluminium in Russia. In 2023, the company’s revenue was $12.2 billion.
