In our country, significant work is being done to introduce green energy technologies. At the same time, solar panel stations and wind generators are being commissioned as part of investment projects of the world’s leading foreign companies.

One of the leading foreign companies implementing such large-scale projects in our country is Acwa Power from Saudi Arabia.

Yesterday, at the Uzeltechsanoat association, a meeting was held between the general manager of the government relations department of the Acwa Power company, Bakhrullo Boboev, and the responsible employees of the association.

At the meeting, the supply of products by enterprises of the local electrical industry by the Acwa Power company for the construction of wind, and solar power plants and energy storage systems in Samarkand, Tashkent, Bukhara and Navoi regions was discussed.

According to the discussions, an agreement was reached to establish cooperative relations for these projects to supply products manufactured in our country, such as cables, voltage devices, and solar panels.

There was also an exchange of views on cooperation with association specialists in the implementation of projects of foreign companies.

At a video conference call on the electrical industry held by the head of state in December 2023, the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 5 gigawatts in our country was noted by the Acwa Power company.

It was stated that $500 million worth of cable and wire products would be required for the 27 gigawatts of green energy projects being implemented in our country.

Based on these guiding principles, the association will continue to develop cooperative relationships with companies such as Acwa Power.
