Prospects for Lithium-Ion Battery Production in Uzbekistan Discussed with “RENERA” Company

As part of the "Innoprom. Central Asia – 2025" international industrial exhibition, a number of important partnership meetings are being held for the development of Uzbekistan’s industrial sectors.

During one of the working sessions, a meeting was held between Faridun Abdualimov, Deputy Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association, and A. Pavlyuk, Deputy Director of Sales at the Russian company RENERA.

The parties thoroughly discussed the prospects for localizing lithium-ion battery production in Uzbekistan, considering the growing demand for modern energy sources.

Faridun Abdualimov provided detailed information to the foreign guests about the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry, the rising demand for renewable energy sources, and the need for energy storage products.

RENERA is one of Russia’s leading companies in the development and implementation of modern batteries and energy storage systems. The parties exchanged views on potential cooperation in establishing joint production capacities, technology transfer, and training of qualified specialists.

In addition, representatives of RENERA were informed about the infrastructure of Uzbekistan’s industrial zones, the favorable conditions created for foreign investors, and the special incentive regimes in place.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their dialogue with the aim of gradually developing cooperation and jointly advancing promising technological projects.
