Cooperation meeting held with companies from the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of "Innoprom. Central Asia – 2025"

From April 28 to 30 of this year, the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia – 2025” is taking place in Tashkent. As part of the event, the Uzeltechsanoat Association is organizing a series of cooperation meetings with foreign delegations.

One such meeting took place on April 29 with the participation of a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Oleg Vladimirovich Korobchenko. The meeting was also attended by representatives of leading industrial companies from Tatarstan.

During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of electrical engineering, including the establishment of joint production facilities, technological collaboration, and investment opportunities.

Deputy Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association, Mr. Faridun Abdualimov, provided the guests with detailed information on the current reforms in Uzbekistan’s electrical industry, the tax and customs incentives for manufacturers, and the sector’s export potential.

Concrete proposals were also presented regarding the localization of production within Uzbekistan and the implementation of joint projects in existing industrial zones.

The Tatarstan delegation responded positively to these initiatives. As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue exchanging information and to develop practical steps toward expanding cooperation.

Negotiations with foreign companies on industrial cooperation, foreign trade activities, and joint implementation of innovative projects are ongoing as part of the exhibition.
