The “Uzeltexsanoat” Association, Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Chinese “Weidong Cloud Education Group” company held the videoconference. According to the results of videoconference, an agreement on the implementation of the project for “Establishing the production of computer equipment for introduction of e-learning system” worth 4 million dollars was signed.

“Weidong Cloud Education Group” is considered as one of the biggest Chinese companies with extensive experience in production of computer equipment and the implementation of modern e-learning systems in many countries around the world. The company operates in 16 countries and plays an significant role in the implementation of many large projects. In order to cover the existing demand in Uzbekistan, “Uzeltexsanoat” Association has taken another initiative. The tripartite agreement was signed within the framework of the new project.

According to the agreement, the parties will begin the implementation of the project on production of computer equipment and other auxiliary goods for smart classrooms by the end of 2020. Measures for the localization of production are also taken into account. The Chinese side takes responsibility for the subsequent technical support and maintenance of the manufactured equipment.

– The main purpose of the agreement with the Uzbek side on the production of modern computer devices and equipment in the field of education is to increase the investment potential between our countries and to provide the education system with high-quality technology. As part of the project, we will start the production of computer equipment with the certain level of localization by attracting foreign direct investment. Within the framework of our joint project with the “Uzeltexsanoat” Association and Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we will primarily focus on the training system of human resources. We are also considering the possibility of technical and service maintenance of products. I am confident that the achievements of Uzbekistan in the field of education will be further improved within the framework of the project that we have signed.
